ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONISIBILITES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including countertops, floors, walls, and shelves.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen equipment, such as ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, refrigerators, and dishwashing areas.
  • Clean and sanitize all utensils and cooking tools after use, ensuring they are stored in a clean and safe manner.
  • Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and prevent slips and falls.
  • Empty trash bins regularly and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, reporting shortages to the supervisor.
  • Clean and sanitize food storage areas, ensuring all food items are properly stored and free from contamination.
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects during off-hours or when required.
  • Follow procedures for handling hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff and management to ensure cleanliness standards are met and address any issues.
  • Must maintain and comply with department and company policies and regulations.
  • Must abide with company grooming policy.
  • Will be responsible for always maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Must participate in all mandatory departmental and companywide events and meetings.
  •  You must understand and execute AAA service standards.

REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  •  High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1+ year experience in commercial kitchen cleaning role preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
  •  Hotel experience is highly preferred.
  • Must have flexibility including evenings, weekends, holiday shifts, and overtime when needed.
  •  Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
