Porter – Hundred Acre (Calistoga, Napa Valley)

We are seeking motivated individuals with deep respect for the craft and a commitment to personal growth to help shape the next chapter of Hundred Acre in Calistoga.

 

Role Overview:

The Porter supports and reports directly to the culinary leadership team in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall functionality of the estate’s culinary operations and service pieces. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, efficient, and seamless environment for both kitchen staff and guests. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment while upholding the estate’s standards of excellence.

 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies.
  • Ensure the availability of clean servicewares by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware according to Hundred Acre standards.
  • Store clean dishes, and equipment appropriately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, including machines, appliances, floors, garbage cans, storage areas, etc. Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as pots, pans, mixers, etc.
  • Prepare the kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking all kitchen stations with necessary supplies.
  • Monitor and execute the dishwashing operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues of machinery to leadership.
  • Supporting other culinary staff members by assisting with additional prep tasks as requested by leadership.

 

Experience & Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years working in a fast-paced, full-service Michelin starred restaurant. 
  • Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude.
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, and stooping.
  • Ability to remain positive and productive in a potentially hot or cold work environment.
  • California food handler and sanitation certifications.

Salary: $20 per/hour
