Job description

We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and guidelines. Your role will also involve maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and ensuring food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
General Accountabilities
  1. Set up and stock station and ensure other work areas are stocked accordingly, as directed by Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager.
  2. Utilize proper recipes, equipment, tools and utensils.
  3. Adhere to company standards for food quality, taste, flavor and presentation.
  4. Ensure that food is portioned and presented according to standards, as well as guest specifications and preferences.
  5. Ensure all products are prepared, held and served at correct temperatures.
  6. Participate and assist in coordinating the flow of work within the culinary department to maximize quality and efficiency.

Qualifications
  1. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  2. Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing meals.
  3. Proven experience working as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
