Job description

JJ Goodwin’s is looking for an experienced, dependable Full-Time Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations. We are seeking someone who takes pride in running an organized, efficient kitchen while leading a team to consistently deliver great food and excellent service.
Position:

  • Full-Time
  • Salary Position (based on experience)
General Responsibilities

  • Order all food and kitchen supplies
  • Manage inventory and maintain proper stock levels
  • Organize food storage, walk-ins, freezers, and dry storage
  • Control food costs and minimize waste
  • Create and maintain prep lists
  • Ensure food quality and consistency
  • Hire, train, schedule, and manage kitchen staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen
  • Ensure compliance with all health and food safety regulations
  • Coordinate with ownership on menu items, specials, and purchasing
  • Work alongside the kitchen team during busy service periods
  • Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
