Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, bread, batter, and cook chicken, tenders, and other menu items following Popeyes recipes and procedures
  • Operate fry station and other kitchen stations as needed
  • Monitor cook times, temperatures, and holding times to ensure food quality and safety
  • Set up, operate, and safely shut down kitchen equipment including fryers
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen throughout your shift
  • Assist with prep work for breading, batter, sides, and other ingredients
  • Communicate clearly with front-of-house and assembly teams to keep orders accurate and timely
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant safety procedures diligently
  • Support the team by learning and working multiple back-of-house stations

Qualifications

  • Dependable, hard-working, and safety-minded with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment around hot equipment and oil
  • Able to follow recipes, procedures, and food safety standards consistently
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn multiple kitchen stations
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Eligible to work in the United States and meet minimum age requirements
