Job description

Adecco Staffing is currently seeking a Kitchen Helper to join a crew at a gold mining encampment near Yellow Pine, ID. The Kitchen Helper is responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining sanitation and safety standards, and assisting the Cook with daily kitchen operations and cleaning. Room, board, meals, and transportation included.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning ingredients).
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other cooking tools promptly.
  • Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and workstations.
  • Organize storage areas and rotate stock to maintain freshness.
  • Assist cooks and chefs with meal prep and plating when needed.
  • Remove trash and maintain proper waste disposal.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Report equipment issues or supply shortages to management.


Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience working in a kitchen setting
  • Food Safe Certificate (required, can acquire later in process)
  • OSHA 10 Certification (required, can acquire later in process)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to work effectively with team members
  • Able to prioritize tasks, multitask efficiently, and work well under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Report equipment issues or supply shortages to management.


Pay and Schedule: $15.50/hr. + OT - Rotational 20 days on 10 days off.
Pay Details: $15.50 per hour
