Position Summary
Beach Happy Cafe in Watercolor is seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Help team member to support daily kitchen operations and ensure a clean, organized, and efficient back-of-house environment. This position is essential in assisting the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, stocking, and maintaining high food safety and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate is motivated, team-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist cooks and kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including washing, chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen workstations, storage areas, coolers, and equipment.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and thoroughly.
  • Restock food, supplies, and kitchen inventory as needed throughout shifts.
  • Remove trash and recycling and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
  • Help receive and organize deliveries, ensuring products are properly stored and labeled.
  • Support opening and closing kitchen duties.
  • Assist with other kitchen and prep tasks as assigned by management.
