Job description

Main Responsibilities of a Kitchen Cabinet Installer/Remodeler (Subcontractor):
  • Prepare area for installation, review and follow kitchen layout and elevations
  • Carrying cabinets from garage into home and installing kitchen cabinets, crown, etc.
  • Minor drywall work, minor plumbing and construction related to install
  • Cleaning up daily at the end of the day
Benefits KKI Provides for Our Subcontractors:

Though we love having our subcontractors work full time for us, we understand there are times you may have your own job and with notice we will work around your schedule.

If you are being paid by the hour and you're going out on a wrap up job for only an hour or two, we will pay for half a day. If you're working 5+ hours we pay for a full day.

We also can pay you by the job instead of hourly, if you prefer.

Kitchen Cabinet Installer/Remodeler (Subcontractor) Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified Kitchen Cabinet Installer/Remodeler who has 5 or more years experience with installing kitchens and doing finish carpentry work. Someone that can complete projects in an efficient, effective, and safe manner. They must be able to perform various on-site tasks, and make sure every job site is perfectly safe. They also need to work great with our staff and store accounts, and follow all the work orders and layouts.

Responsibilities of a Kitchen Cabinet Installer/Remodeler (Subcontractor):
  • Properly preparing area for safe remodeling
  • Covering floors, ctops and appliances and entrances into kitchen thoroughly before install
  • Clean area of install daily prior to leaving
  • Following kitchen layouts and elevations
Construction Worker Job Requirements:
  • Experience in kitchen cabinetry installs and finish carpentry/remodeling
  • High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
  • A valid driver's license and transportation
  • Ability to effectively work in a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks
  • Willingness to learn and get additional training if necessary
  • Must have your own subcontractor's insurance and tools
  • Must pass a background check and have no felonies
