Job description

Position Summary...A day remodel associate works with the Remodel Lead and Day Remodel Manager to establish standards in newly renovated departments. They complete modulars, assist customers, ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured, maintains clearance zone, scans departments in the run up to setting the department and after setting the department to ensure proper in-stock.What you'll do...

1. Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
2. Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).
3.Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments
4. Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.
5. Assists in Shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
6. Build new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.
7. Move counters using the appropriate equipment.
8. Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards
9. May occasionally working in construction areas, and require steel toes and a hard hat.
10. While executing remodel responsibilities, they consistently demonstrate exceptional customer focus by proactively assisting customers in locating products, answering questions accurately, and ensuring a positive shopping experience despite ongoing construction activity
