Le vice-president adjoint, comptabilite et administration des fonds speculatifs sera responsable de la prestation de la valeur liquidative (VL), du service a la clientele et de la supervision de l'equipe mondiale de la comptabilite de couverture. Il dirigera divers projets en contact avec la clientele et a l'interne ou y participera. De plus, il participera au travail reglementaire, a la formation et a la verification annuelle.

L'equipe a laquelle vous vous joindrez fait partie de l'equipe des placements non traditionnels de State Street (SSAI). SSAI donne aux proprietaires et aux gestionnaires d'actifs l'acces aux outils financiers essentiels dont ils ont besoin pour offrir des solutions de placement efficaces. De la garde de base, la comptabilite, l'administration des fonds et la tenue des registres des actionnaires, en solutions d'exploitation completes et en services pour les actifs alternatifs comme les derives en vente libre, les capitaux propres prives et l'immobilier, les outils de SSGS aident nos clients a faire de meilleurs choix de placement et a saisir les occasions de croissance.

Ce dont vous serez responsable

En tant que vice-president adjoint, comptabilite et administration des fonds speculatifs, vous:

• effectuerez l'examen final et approuverez les ensembles de VL;
• gererez l'execution des travaux de VL a l'emplacement du centre;
• assurerez la gestion et la surveillance des clients;
• executerez des taches administratives et des projets lies et non lies au client;
• soutiendrez tout deploiement de nouvelle technologie lie a l'equipe de VL;
• gererez les processus d'initialisation et de transition des clients.

• Solide esprit critique, resolution de problemes et prise de decisions.
• Excellente connaissance des fonds speculatifs, notamment les produits, les frais, les structures de fonds et les allocations.
• Solides competences en gestion et experience en gestion d'emplacements a l'etranger.
• Excellentes aptitudes de communication, a l'ecrit et a l'oral.

Formation et qualifications privilegiees

• Baccalaureat en sciences requis. Baccalaureat en comptabilite/finances, de preference.
• Au moins huit ans d'experience en comptabilite de fonds de couverture, en comptabilite de fonds, en fonds de couverture de fonds ou en verification. Une grande experience en couverture est fortement souhaitee.
• Bonne connaissance d'Excel, de preference.
• Experience de la plateforme Geneva, de preference.

Who we are looking for

The Hedge Fund Accounting and Administration, Assistant Vice President will be responsible for NAV delivery, client service, and oversight of global hedge accounting team. They will participate and/or lead various projects both client facing and internal. Additionally, they will be involved in regulatory work, training, and annual audit.

What you will be responsible for

As Hedge Fund Accounting and Administration, Assistant Vice President you will

• Perform final review and sign off on NAV packages
• Manage hub location delivery of NAV work
• Perform client management & oversight
• Execute administrative tasks & projects client related and non-client related
• Support any new technology rollouts that are related to the NAV team
• Handle client initialization and transition processes

• Strong managerial skills and experience managing offshore locations

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, preferred.
• 8+ years of hedge fund accounting, fund accounting, hedge fund of fund, or audit experience. Majority experience in hedge, strongly preferred
• Good excel knowledge, preferred
• Geneva experience, preferred
