Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Kinetic Care Center, you will:

• Provide comprehensive patient-centered care by managing the full spectrum of therapeutic interventions for a designated group of patients in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, utilizing clinical reasoning to develop individualized care plans that promote engagement and goal achievement.
• Deliver physical therapy services, including evaluations and treatment interventions, consistent with your professional scope of practice and ethical standards.
• Regularly assess and reevaluate therapeutic and rehabilitative statuses to adapt the total plan of care as necessary.
• Implement skilled therapeutic techniques during in-clinic sessions to enhance patients' functional abilities and overall well-being.
• Provide education and resources for patients and their families about at-home therapies, exercises, and the effective use of therapeutic appliances or prosthetic devices.
• Manage your caseload efficiently, prioritizing daily tasks and coordinating with clinical staff to optimize patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse range of patients, from children with developmental delays to adults recovering from surgeries or managing chronic conditions. Your expertise will be critical in helping these patients regain their mobility, independence, and quality of life, contributing to our overall mission of fostering health and improving functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• A strong commitment to creating positive patient experiences and fostering patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

While candidates with no prior experience are welcome, preference will be given to those who have previous hands-on experience in a clinical setting, particularly within outpatient therapy environments. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and practice management software will be an asset.
