The Kimbell Art Museum offers paid, part-time Registration internship to graduate students, as well as recent post-graduates, who are interested in learning about museum practices and developing professional skills.

The Kimbell internship program is designed to mentor future museum professionals from diverse cultural, economic, social, and educational backgrounds. Interns are assigned to departments based on their academic background, professional skills, interests, and goals. Interns will be introduced to the work of the Registrar’s office in the areas of collections management, database management, exhibition planning (including installments and deinstallations), fine-art shipping, insurance, and rights and reproductions.  The intern will also receive specific training for any current projects and best museum practices.

As a Kimbell intern, you will enjoy a variety of benefits, including:

  • Cohort orientation
