Certified Athletic Trainer, Rehab, Flex Schedule, Full-Time
The Athletic Trainer is responsible for performing athletic training duties according to ATC Practice Act related to sporting events to local area school athletes in practice and competition as directed. The Athletic Trainer will provide athletic training services to student athletes including prevention, first aid and treatment, evaluation and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. The Athletic Trainer will communicate all injuries to the physician, physical therapists, and coaches. The Athletic Trainer will coordinate on-site continuing education programs, community presentations and year-round conditioning programs as requested. Primary work time will be spent at the area schools.
Required Education, Skills, Abilities:
• Certification of athletic trainer to include appropriate affiliation hours, care courses as mandated by the Athletic Trainers Association
• Must maintain certification in the state of KY
• BLS certification – within 3 months of hire
• Program development exercise a plus
• Ability to perform detailed assignments and work under stress
• Works cooperatively, communicated effectively
• Follows oral and written instruction
• Excellent customer service skills
