We are seeking a reliable, organized, and caring Cook to join our team at Kids 'R' Kids of Mableton.
This role is essential to our daily operations. You will prepare nutritious meals and snacks that support children's growth, energy, and overall well-being. More than just cooking-this role helps create a safe, consistent, and healthy environment for the children in our care.
At Kids 'R' Kids, everything we do is rooted in connection. Hug first, then teach. That applies in the kitchen too-through care, consistency, and attention to detail.
What You'll Do
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for infants through school-age children
  • Follow the approved menu and portion guidelines
  • Maintain strong awareness of allergies and dietary restrictions, ensuring safe substitutions
  • Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times
  • Follow all state licensing and health department regulations
  • Assist with food ordering, inventory, and supply management
  • Minimize waste while ensuring adequate food quantities
  • Communicate clearly with leadership regarding kitchen needs and updates
