Job description

Georgia Military College is excited to announce an opening for a Part-Time Receptionist/Activity Monitor at the Kidd Center in our Milledgeville Campus. The position will be tasked to greet all visitors and check for school IDs for those entering the facility wishing to utilize workout areas. The individuals who assume this position will be responsible for:
  • Conducting periodic walk-throughs of open activity areas
  • Monitoring activity in open areas via security video screen at the receptionist's station
  • Ensuring use of Kidd Center facilities is in accordance with stated policies for use
  • Making sure areas are in good order at the end of shifts
  • Reporting problems/issues/needed repairs to stated personnel as needed
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

*Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

Required Skills:
Basic first aid/CPR/AED training is required for employment and such certification should be presented if currently held. Applicants not having certification will receive, if hired, training and certification by GMC personnel before first work session at no cost.

  • Up-to-date basic first aid/CPR/AED -OR- the willingness to obtain the certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours
