Job description

The Arena District Athletic Club is looking for dependable, professional, and energetic individuals to join our team as Kickball Umpires for the 2026 season. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys sports, working outdoors, and helping create a fun and organized league experience for participants.

Kickball games are scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, with shifts running from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The season begins April 21, 2026. Umpires are paid $20 per game and also receive a free gym membership as part of the position.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Officiate kickball games in a fair, consistent, and professional manner

  • Enforce league rules and maintain control of gameplay

  • Communicate clearly with players, team captains, and league staff

  • Assist with pre-game field and equipment set-up

  • Help with post-game tear-down and clean-up

  • Ensure games begin on time and run smoothly throughout the evening

  • Promote a positive, recreational, and sportsmanlike atmosphere
