Responsibilities
We are seeking to add a Calibration & Repair Service Technician to our team, with a strong emphasis on the repair and restoration of RF and Network Analyzer systems. This role is primarily responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex measurement equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and component-level diagnostics on RF test equipment, with a primary focus on Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and related systems.
  • Identify and resolve complex hardware and performance issues using in-depth knowledge of RF principles, instrument architecture, and signal flow.
  • Execute corrective maintenance, including board-level repairs, part replacement, and system reassembly to restore instruments to full operational condition.
  • Validate repairs through functional verification and calibration processes to ensure compliance with performance specifications.
  • Develop and improve repair procedures, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and proper documentation of all service activities.
  • Act as a technical resource for difficult repair cases, supporting peers and assisting with escalations involving Network Analyzer products.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to address recurring failures and drive long-term reliability improvements.
  • Maintain detailed service records and analyze repair trends to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications
Critical Skills & Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field, or equivalent specialized training/certification.
  • Minimum of 7 years of directly related experience, with typically 9 to 15 years of experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in repairing, calibrating, and performing advanced maintenance on Keysight instruments.
  • Advanced understanding of software tools for calibration and repair procedure development.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to back up management and drive team objectives.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across various teams.
