Full-Stack Software Engineer
Chantilly, VA

ICR has opportunities available for experienced and motivated Full-Stack Software Engineers.

We have opportunities for Full-Stack Engineers to play a lead role in the design, development, and
deployment of applications, microservices, APIs, and web applications in a true DevSecOps-enabled environment. You will collaborate with a team of like-minded developers to build solutions that will help our customer with a mission critical application.
Candidates for this position will have the opportunity to utilize an almost endless number of interesting and useful technology stacks, to include: Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, MinIO, Keycloak, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, MongoDB, CI/CD pipelines, GoLang, Angular, TypeScript, Redis, RabbitMQ and much more.
Required Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, the candidate must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with SSBI and SCI eligibility
    • Requires US citizenship
  • At least 5 years’ experience developing Java, GoLang and/or TypeScript based UI
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Full-stack software development (i.e. client, server, and data tiers)
  • At least 5 years’ experience working with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) or NoSQL databases
  • At least 1 years’ experience with containerization and orchestration platforms
  • Strong understanding of development best practices, configuration management, and testing
  • Strong desire to constantly learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies that can further the customer’s mission and provide value to the end-user
  • Ability and desire to work independently, i.e. given general tasking, develop subtasks and/or approach to satisfy task objectives
  • Proven capability to learn new skills, adapt to shifting priorities and requirements
  • Comfortable with the Linux operating system
Desired Skills and Experience
Strong candidates will have one or more of the following:
  • Strong familiarity with Java, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, Angular $
  • Strong familiarity with Spring Boot and its many utilities/packages
  • Well-versed in databases of all kinds, whether relational or NoSQL
  • Familiarity with OAuth2 security principles, Keycloak, and OpenID Connect
  • Understanding how to protect data at all application levels
  • Familiarity with message queue implementations, such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
  • Good understanding of Git, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and CM best practices
  • Experience utilizing Test Driven Development

Salary Range:  $130,000 - $180,000
