Job description

Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director (RN) – Surgical Services to lead perioperative operations in Missoula, Montana. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of surgical services, including clinical quality, operational efficiency, staff development, and physician collaboration.

The Director will work closely with executive leadership, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize surgical workflows, improve patient outcomes, and drive performance across key operational metrics. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $120,000 to $165,000 annually based on experience and the opportunity to lead a critical service line within a growing healthcare organization.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Surgical Services nursing, including leadership experience at the Manager or Director level.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Strong clinical and operational knowledge of perioperative services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (MSN, Healthcare Administration, or MBA) strongly preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications within six (6) months of hire.
