Overview

We are looking for a Concierge who will provide high-level customer service and assistance to residents and guests at an MAA property in Orlando. We are looking to hire a Concierge who can fill in schedules when needed. The Concierge will report to the Location Manager and work in partnership with the MAA Management/Leasing Teams. This is a high-profile position in a professional office and residential setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and screen visitors and vendors on the property.
  • Monitor resident and guest traffic access to the building.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with resident requests and inquiries.
  • Coordinate resident services and deliveries.
  • Maintain general lobby access control, door services, and other applicable lobby responsibilities.
  • Provide leasing information and schedule appointments for prospective residents.
  • Document and escalate concerns and issues to management as necessary.
  • Adhere to Fair Housing requirements. Training will be provided.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Two or more years of customer relations/customer service experience required
  • Concierge-related experience in a hotel, retail and/or restaurant environment, strongly preferred
  • Supervisory management experience preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Ability to communicate verbally clearly and concisely and in writing
  • Able to read, write, and converse in English
  • Adaptability to change and flexibility to reprioritize tasks accordingly
  • General computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Internet)
  • Comfortable using standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, stand, walk, sit, and use hands and arms to handle, feel, and reach
  • Occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds
