Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing the overall relationship with the customer and serving as the central point of coordination.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with customers. This involves working closely with all other companies’ functional teams to develop and implement strategies to expand the company's market share. Driving growth and profitability for the company.
  • Building strong relationships with the customers, including maintaining regular communication and addressing any concerns or issues that arise. Act as the primary point of contact for the customer and work to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with the customer, working closely with the legal and finance teams to ensure that terms and conditions are favorable for both parties.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve long-term growth and profitability with OEM customers. This includes support for market intelligence and competitive analysis, new business opportunities, all offerings that meet customer needs.
  • Works closely with the plant and logistics for demand planning and supply chain teams to forecast sales volumes and ensure that production and inventory levels are aligned with customer demand.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams within the company, including engineering, operations, and quality, to ensure that customer requirements are met and that products are delivered on time and to the customer's specifications.
  • To support the customer the engineering team for working with the customer to develop and engineer new products that meet their specific requirements. They work closely with the Key Account Manager to ensure that customer needs are being met and that products are delivered on time and to the customer's specifications.
  • Ensuring that production and inventory levels are aligned with customer demand. They work closely with the Key Account Manager to forecast sales volumes and to ensure that products are delivered on time and to the customer's specifications.
  • Ensuring that products meet customer quality standards and addressing any customer complaints or issues that arise. They work closely with the Key Account Manager to ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained.
Required Skills amp; Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in KAMs in global company.
  • Knowledge of negotiation, presentation, organizational and multi-tasking techniques.
  • Strong communication ability (oral and written) in English.
  • Strong Leadership abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work under time pressure and minimum supervision.
  • High level of interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills (customer facing).
  • Willingness to travel / mobility.
  • Flexibility to work early or late schedules to accommodate customer time zones.
Preferred Skills amp; Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with an automotive manufacturing company in a responsible capacity involving both engineering and sales activities.
  • Knowledge in reviewing strategies to increase revenue, often beginning by researching new markets or assigning other professionals to conduct studies of products and consumers.
  • Must be able to oversee sales growth; evaluate sales reports, often looking to capitalize on a particular product or service in the marketplace.
  • Master’s degree with a major in business administration, engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Experience in Automotive Industry, preferred in suspension systems.
  • Oversea assignment experience/cross-cultural work experience
Required Travel: 25% - 40% domestically to customer sites in MI. lt;10% Internationally to Manufacturing/Customer sites.
