Weโ€™re Hiring: Key Account Manager โ€“ SalesWe are seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Key Account Manager with proven produce industry experience and strong knowledge of products, quality standards, seasonality, availability, pricing, logistics, and customer requirements.This hands-on role will manage and grow key accounts, serve as the primary customer contact, follow up on orders and deliveries, resolve issues, prepare quotes, develop existing accounts, and prospect for new business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow customer accounts.Coordinate orders, shipments, deliveries, quality concerns, claims, and service issues.Work closely with Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Quality, and Finance.Communicate proactivelyPrepare quotes and develop sales opportunities.Maintain an active pipeline and accurate customer records.Support forecasting and monitor sales, pricing, margins, and profitability.Travel as required to visit customers, prospects, events, and business locations.RequirementsPrevious produce industry experience is required.Strong knowledge of produce products, quality, seasonality, availability, pricing, and logistics.Experience in B2B sales, account management, or customer service.Excellent communication, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.Strong sense of urgency and customer-service mindset.Comfortable prospecting and developing new business.Proficient with computers; CRM and Excel experience is a plus.Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.Schedule & AvailabilityTravel as required.Work one Saturday per month.Be available for customer or business-related calls after regular business hours when necessary.The successful candidate will be proactive, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage changing availability, quality, pricing, and delivery requirements.Own the account.
