This salary range is an average range for this position. Overview

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing Southern Glazer's beverage portfolio, focusing on assigned Key Accounts. You'll drive distribution, visibility, and velocity through strategic partnerships. The overall purpose of this position is to manage and execute SG sales objectives, including volume, share, distribution, and assortment. The KAM must be organized, ambitious, analytical, and dependable.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Grow sales and improve distribution execution and share within RBC/ Home D Chains across SGBC total territory
  • Provide total account management; sell-in programs, targeted POS, and brand promotions.
  • Utilize entire suite of sales tools
  • Maintain active communications with commercial stakeholders
  • Evaluate strategies and action plans against allocated budget; manage budgets
  • Contribute to the development & management of annual account plan
  • Facilitate communication of pricing to assigned account(s)
  • Track and measure business performance in key volume and execution metrics via routine Performance Reviews
  • Develop and drive action plans to close gaps
  • Own channel management model; Price & Promotional Planning, Retail Programming, and continuous improvement on Sales-Lever (In-Store Conditions) improvement in-store
  • Grow net revenue and GP as an owner of the segment to drive growth

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Able and willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Highly self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic knowledge of retail initiatives (particularly Category Management and information-based selling)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • High level of expertise in analyzing information and making information-based recommendations
  • Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation
  • Comfort level with change and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to grow and lead customer relationships
  • Ability to understand and read invoices, load sheets, job orders, and installation instructions as well as ability to calculate simple math functions
