Job description

All Roads Kenworth of South Florida, Fort Pierce location

CDL A Driver or CDL B with manual endorsement.

Great opportunity for a CDL A Driver & Shop Assistant at Kenworth of South Florida in Ft. Pierce. This role is responsible for test driving trucks serviced by our technicians. The ideal candidate will have a some mechanical aptitude (or prior technician experience) and be comfortable communicating mechanical information to the technicians about the vehicles. This position requires operating a manual transmission/stick shift on a daily basis.

Compensation: $24 per hour, full time Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

  1. Observe and follow safety procedures and DOT regulations
  2. Communicate effectively with technicians about mechanical issues
  3. Provide accurate service to customers with pick up and deliveries as needed
  4. General shop assistance, clean up as needed
  5. Remain alert while operating the vehicle
  6. Communicate effectively with employees and customers
  7. All other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid CDL A or B Driver’s License with manual endorsement
  • Must have a clean driving record 
  • 2+ years of delivery/driving experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Current DOT medical card
