Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Keck Health Care Center. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive bio-psychosocial assessments to evaluate mental health, substance abuse, and medical needs in a primary care context.
  • Deliver therapeutic services including individual, couples, and family counseling, while focusing on intake processes, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
  • Document mental health evaluations and progress notes electronically, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Provide social work support by connecting clients to local resources and community agencies, such as medication assistance programs.
  • Coordinate with Quality Improvement teams to develop and enhance data collection processes aimed at improving service delivery and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on students and their families within the school environment, addressing a variety of mental health concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to more critical issues requiring immediate intervention. Qualifications
  • Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of California.
  • A masterโ€™s degree in social work from an accredited institution.

  • In-depth knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and counseling methodologies, with the ability to make independent judgments regarding client care.

Compensation and Benefits
