Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Keck Health Care Center. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while providing essential mental health services within a school setting. Our ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in social work and have a minimum of three years of post-licensure experience.

Work Environment

As a remote position, this role allows for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a structured and supportive environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes medical professionals, educators, and community organizations, all dedicated to fostering the mental health of students. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive bio-psychosocial assessments to evaluate mental health, substance abuse, and medical needs in a primary care context.
  • Deliver therapeutic services including individual, couples, and family counseling, while focusing on intake processes, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
  • Document mental health evaluations and progress notes electronically, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Provide social work support by connecting clients to local resources and community agencies, such as medication assistance programs.
  • Coordinate with Quality Improvement teams to develop and enhance data collection processes aimed at improving service delivery and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on students and their families within the school environment, addressing a variety of mental health concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to more critical issues requiring immediate intervention. By working closely with educational staff and healthcare providers, you'll leverage your expertise to create supportive frameworks that promote positive mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of California.
  • A master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution.
  • Three years of post-licensure experience in a relevant setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in clinical social work practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and counseling methodologies, with the ability to make independent judgments regarding client care.
  • Proficiency in group facilitation and planning processes is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
