Job Description

Job  is located at 1300 Thames Street, is in need of six billers/scrubbers to work the backlog of unbilled accounts totaling in the millions. The selected candidates must possess the following:


5 years experience in hospital billing, collections or accounts receivable, ICD9 or 10, IDX, Meditech or Keane and advanced level Excel skills


The length of the assignment is about 90 days but could change depending upon the need of the department.


Requires knowledge of accounting, finance and statistics principles as normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Quantitative Business Analysis, Information Management or a related field.


Requires knowledge of healthcare finance and accounting principles. Also requires knowledge of Patient Accounting applications (Keane and IDX) to assist in appropriate Johns Hopkins International design, development and implementation of system changes.


Requires strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Access software applications and basic understanding of healthcare industry issues and operations, including Maryland regulatory environment.
