Machine Operator / Sand Blasting Operator

PrideStaff is seeking a skilled and reliable Sand Blasting Operator on behalf of our client in Fountain Inn, SC.
This role is vital to our production process, as you will be responsible for preparing surfaces on various objects and components using high-pressure abrasive blasting equipment. Your primary goal will be to ensure surfaces are properly cleaned, prepared, and ready for further coating processes.

Machine Operator / Sand Blasting Operator Key Responsibilities include:

  • Operate and monitor sand blasting equipment, including blast cabinets, hoses, and compressors.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on blasting equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor surface quality, ensuring they meet specified finish, texture, and cleanliness requirements.
  • Adjust machine settings and select appropriate abrasive media for different projects and materials.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).


Machine Operator / Sand Blasting Operator Required Skills and Experience include:

  • Previous experience operating and maintaining abrasive blasting machinery (preferred).
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
