Job Description Position Summary Support the DOMEX Technology Platform as a Front-End Software Engineer 3 developing high-quality web applications for a DoD program using a modern technology stack. Most tasks are conducted on-site at the client location in Bethesda, MD. The source body also states that occasional remote work may be available depending on client requirements and deliverables. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS or Angular frameworks. * Code, test, and debug new and existing web applications. * Implement and refine user interfaces. * Conduct thorough unit testing using automated tooling. * Collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure optimal performance and usability. * Peer review code written by fellow team members. * Utilize virtualization technologies such as Docker and Podman. Required Qualifications * Active Top Secret with ability to obtain a TS/SCI with CI Polygraph. * Bachelor's degree with a minimum of six years of experience in the category field. Three additional years of experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree. * Experience with modern front-end libraries such as ReactJS and Angular, including a minimum of 2 years of professional experience. * Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Solid understanding of HTTP web requests for fetching JSON data. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to write well-documented code. * Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. * Solid understanding of the software development life cycle while working within an Agile framework. Preferred Qualifications * Genuine passion for creating great user experiences. * Experience writing front-end unit tests. * Experience writing backend web API services. * Experience coding in other languages such as Python. * Familiarity with NoSQL datastores such as Elasticsearch. * Familiarity with performance optimization techniques. * Up-to-date knowledge of emerging front-end technologies.
