Dental Hygienist

Job Description

- Perform routine and advanced cleanings, scaling, root planning, sealants, and fluoride treatments.
- Examine for cavities, gum disease, and oral abnormalities, and document findings.
- Take, process, and analyze dental X-rays while following safety protocols.
- Teach proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and diet tips for oral health.
- Work with the dentist and staff to ensure excellent patient care and provide post-treatment guidance.
- Maintain accurate patient records and use software like Dentrix for documentation and scheduling.
- Sterilize instruments, manage inventory, assist in emergencies, and stay updated on industry advancements.

Salary Range

Full-time $55 - $60 per hour
