Overview
The 50+ person growing studio is seeking a Construction Administrator with healthcare experience to join their growing collaborative firm! (This is a fully remote position, but candidates must reside in Southern California to allow for visits to project job sites as needed.)
Mid-size Los Angeles & San Diego Architecture + Interiors studio has received acclaim for its award-winning healthcare designs for clients including Kaiser Permanente, UCLA, UCI, and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. From landmark medical campuses to intimate imaging suites, the studio designs exceptional environments that promote healing while meeting the healthcare industry's planning, efficiency and technical demands. Their studio's architectural ingenuity, technical expertise, and attention to detail consistently place their projects at the forefront of cutting-edge design. Overall Responsibilities
As a key member of the team, you will work closely with Project Managers to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. You will possess the skills and motivation to operate independently as a Construction Project Administrator, providing comprehensive administrative support to multiple Project Managers.
Job Responsibilities
  • Construction Documentation: Interpret construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Project Coordination: Manage project timelines and contractor schedules to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Risk Management: Analyze and resolve potential risks associated with contract changes, safeguarding the organization's interests.
  • Change Order Management: Prepare drawing change orders as required for scope changes.
  • RFI Coordination: Prepare and track construction requests for information (RFIs) to ensure timely resolution of project queries.
  • Submittal Processing: Coordinate and process submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Meeting Documentation: Record and distribute meeting minutes as needed.

Qualifications
  • Construction Knowledge: Understanding of construction documents, details, and processes.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Project Planning: Familiarity with preparing proposals, schedules, project plans, and budgets.
