Job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will join Dignity Health Medical Group - North State, a physician-led, professionally managed multi-specialty group in Redding, CA. You will play a pivotal role within our well-established Orthopedic team, providing high-quality care in both outpatient clinic and operating room settings. This position will work with our Total Joints replacement team.

You will provide expert clinical care, benefiting from strong physician support and mentorship within a collegial practice environment. Your responsibilities will include consultations, follow-ups, and procedures such as joint injections and aspirations. The typical schedule offers a 4-day, 10-hours/day structure, often balanced between one-two days in the OR and two-three days in the clinic, allowing for excellent work-life balance. Your affiliation with Dignity Health connects you to the highest standard of healthcare, all within a single hospital and clinic site, eliminating inter-facility commuting.

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a passion for orthopedics, strong clinical and procedural skills, and a commitment to team-oriented patient care within a beautiful Northern California community known for affordable real estate, top-rated schools, and year-round outdoor recreation.

* Conduct outpatient clinic consultations, follow-ups, and procedures (e.g., joint injections, aspirations).

* Assist in the operating room (typically one-two days per week, schedules may vary).

* Order and interpret diagnostic tests relevant to orthopedic care.

* Collaborate within a supportive, team-oriented orthopedic practice.

We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:

* Compensation Range: $140,000 - $155,000 + productivity incentives.

Job Requirements

Required:

* Active or eligible license in the State of California

* Nationally recognized certification

* Completion of state mandated educational courses

* Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

* Minimum of 1 year experience in Orthopedic Surgery

* First-assist surgical experience

* Comfort in both clinic and OR settings
