Full-Time Junk Removal Laborer / Driver

WeDo Junk Removal is a locally owned small business. We currently operate as a two-person owner-led team while we expand into other business ventures. When you work here, you're working directly with owners who care about their employees and customers. As we continue to grow, there is room for advancement for dependable team members.

What You'll Do

This is a physically demanding job. You will be expected to:

  • Lift, carry, load, and unload heavy furniture, appliances, construction debris, and other junk safely.

  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Drive company dump trucks to customer locations, transfer stations, and disposal facilities.

  • Communicate professionally with customers from arrival through job completion.

  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively.

  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services when appropriate.

  • Collect payments and maintain professionalism at every job.

  • Keep trucks, equipment, and job sites clean and organized.

  • Complete full property cleanouts, including homes, garages, storage units, rental properties, estates, and other spaces that may be dirty, cluttered, or contain unpleasant conditions.

  • Treat every customer and every property with respect. We expect employees to remain professional, nonjudgmental, and respectful regardless of the condition of a home or cleanout.

What We Require

We are looking for someone who is dependable above all else.

Requirements:

  • Show up to work every scheduled day and be ON TIME.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required).

  • Ability to safely drive a dump truck.

  • Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100+ pounds with a team throughout the day.

  • Comfortable working in dirty, dusty, cluttered, or otherwise unpleasant environments as some cleanouts involve challenging conditions.

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical labor all day.

  • Good communication and customer service skills.

  • Sales mindset—you should be comfortable talking with customers and identifying additional work when appropriate.

  • Ability to work respectfully in customers' homes without judgment or negative comments.

  • Positive attitude and ability to work closely as part of a small team.

  • Reliable transportation to and from work.

Compensation & Benefits

  • 30–40 hours per week (40 hours are not guaranteed).

  • Keep cash tips same day that split amongst team members.

  • Credit card tips are split equally among team members working that job at end of every month.
