Job Title: Task Project Manager 3
Location: Vogtle Nuclear Plant – Waynesboro, Georgia
Assignment: 12 months contract with possibility to extend based on performance and project.

Position Summary:
The Task Project Manager 3 oversees specific projects or tasks, ensuring they are executed efficiently and in accordance with project plans and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include tracking progress, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with timelines and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
  • Provide field oversight of supplemental personnel, ensuring alignment with project goals, safety standards, and plant procedures.
  • Review work products for quality, completeness, and adherence to technical specifications.
  • Track and monitor project schedule and budget, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Facilitate coordination and interface with other plant departments to support smooth project implementation and timely completion.
  • Oversee specific projects or tasks, ensuring they are executed efficiently and in accordance with project plans, timelines, safety regulations, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with plant policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and records as required by our client’s standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior project personnel as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):
  • Clearance and Tagging qualification required.
  • Task Manager qualification Preferred.
  • Familiarity with ESOMS, MAXIMO, PDMS, and Primavera P6 is highly desired.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with plant personnel, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline is preferred.

Qualifications:
  • 5-12 years of experience managing tasks and projects in the energy sector.
  • PMP certification is recommended.
  • Prior experience managing supplemental or contractor personnel in a nuclear environment is highly desirable.
