  • Perform and oversee engineering calculations to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements
  • Review and approve construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
  • Coordinate closely with Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing (MEP), structural, and architectural teams to deliver integrated systems
  • Conduct design reviews to resolve conflicts related to function, clearances, and installation feasibility
  • Support project planning, including scope development, scheduling, and design budget coordination
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Interface directly with clients to communicate design intent, requirements, and solutions
  • Participate in QA/QC processes and collaborate with technical leadership to maintain engineering standards
  • Support construction-phase activities, including RFIs, submittals, and field coordination

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong background in HVAC system design, load calculations, and equipment selection
    • Deep understanding of applicable building codes, standards, and multidisciplinary coordination
  • Software: Proficiency in Revit, mechanical modeling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Communication: Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage priorities, guide teams, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience across retail, grocery, multifamily, industrial, or mixed-use developments
