About the Roleย
Are you an experienced engineer ready to take the next step in leadership and project ownership?ย We are seeking aย Projectย Managerย to help lead structural designย projects that areย appropriate toย your level of experience and capability, mentor emerging engineers, and shape innovative solutions across a range of projects.ย You'llย playย a central roleย in managing complex projects from concept through construction while collaborating closely with clients and design partners.ย ย You would serve as the client point of contact for KPFF.ย
Whatย You'llย Doย
- Lead Projects:ย Manage design efforts from concept to completion, balancing technical excellence, coordination,ย budgets,ย schedulesย and client relationships.ย
- Design & Innovate:ย Apply advanced structural engineering principles to develop creative, efficient, and constructible solutions.ย ย Lead development of drawings and specifications.ย
- Mentor & Guide:ย Support andย mentor engineersย through hands-on training and project collaboration.ย
- Collaborate Across Disciplines:ย Work closely with architects, owners, and contractors to ensure technical accuracy and successful outcomes.ย
- Contribute toย Utah'sย Growth:ย Help shape projects that strengthen our local communities-from commercial and education facilities to public infrastructure.ย
Physical Demands and Work Environmentย
- Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table.ย
- Occasionallyย may beย requiredย to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs.ย ย
- Occasionally visiting project locations and performing field inspections which may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain.ย

Compensation and Benefitsย
Compensation:ย
The base salary for this role is competitive and will beย determinedย based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills. The expected range for a qualified candidate with 6-10 years of experience isย $90,000-$110,000. Additionally, we offer performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions in each Reporting Center. During the interview process,ย we'llย provide detailed information and address any questions about the overall compensation package and benefits.ย
