DURATION: 12 Months
LOCATION: Albany, NY – Hybrid
These Software Developer positions will function as developers for changes to multiple Department of Health software applications as required by the MENA legislation.                             
Qualifications
  • Software Developer - Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.        
  • Expert- 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
  • 84 Months of experience in object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) in designing and implementing information technology solutions using the Java programming language
  • 84 Months of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and developing procedures and packages.
  • 48 Months of experience in using the Struts 2 MVC framework.
  • 36 Months of experience using JavaScript framework
  • 12 Months of experience developing Java web services (REST and SOAP)
  • 12 Months of experience building and maintaining responsive web applications
  • 12 Months of experience in using Git for source code control
  • 24 Months of experience in developing and maintaining Microsoft Access applications.
Day-to-Day tasks                                     
  • Analysis of business specifications
  • Development and/or modification of technical and/or design specifications, technical writing and documentation;
  • Analysis of existing code for enhancement evaluation;
  • Updates to client and web applications at the user interface, business logic and data access layers;
  • Software development tasks including coding, testing, and implementation.
