As a Software Engineer within our OI Provider DevOps Enablement - Revenue Cycle Automation team, you will play a crucial role in modernizing and simplifying healthcare operations through secure, scalable technology. Our vision is to enable faster decision-making, improve user experience, and deliver greater value to our business partners and members. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work on highly innovative and exciting projects such as RAVPrint, NOVA 1st Tier Appeals, Underpayment Appeals, various advanced interactive Dashboards, and more! By leveraging cutting-edge cloud-native architectures in Azure, modern frameworks like .NET and React JS, and advanced AI-assisted development tools, you will design and implement automation solutions that streamline complex workflows and revolutionize healthcare operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support for enterprise applications
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions using .NET, React JS, Azure cloud services, and SQL databases
  • Build and maintain microservices-based architecture, modern web applications, APIs, serverless components, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools and AI-assisted development tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, accelerate development, and drive continuous improvement
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps deployment automation to improve release velocity and operational efficiency
  • Conduct comprehensive code reviews and enforce engineering standards, ensuring high quality, maintainability, security, and performance across all outputs
  • Establish monitoring, observability, and alerting strategies to maintain high availability and system performance in production environments
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality software increments aligned with business outcomes
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends across cloud, AI, and modern engineering practices to inform strategic direction and innovation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, OR 4 years of software engineering experience
  • 3 years of professional software engineering experience working across modern programming languages such as .NET (C#), Java, and SQL
  • 3 years of front-end development experience using modern frameworks (e.g., React JS, Angular, or TypeScript-based stacks)
  • 2 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and consuming modern RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
  • 2 years of professional experience building and deploying applications in Azure cloud environments (e.g., compute, storage, networking, serverless capabilities)
  • 2 years of experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server or equivalent), including database design, performance optimization, and development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 years of production support
  • Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation practices
  • Professional experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Codex) and integrating AI/ML services within software solutions
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including secure coding standards, testing strategies (unit, integration, performance), and design patterns
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka)
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform) and cloud-native deployment patterns
  • Exposure to data engineering or BI development, including building data pipelines and analytics-ready datasets
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum delivery models and participation in iterative product development
  • Exposure to the healthcare domain (e.g., payer, provider, claims, or clinical systems)
  • Passion for continuous learning and demonstrated ability to apply emerging technologies (AI, cloud, modern engineering practices) to solve business problems

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
