Job description

Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Support Analyst to support program execution and financial management activities across a portfolio of contracts. This entry-level role is designed for a recent graduate looking to build a strong foundation in program control, financial analysis, and project operations within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The selected candidate will work closely with experienced analysts, project managers, and corporate teams to support Sabre’s Program Control Group (PCG) in delivering accurate financial tracking, reporting, and operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in collecting, organizing, and validating financial and project data from multiple systems and sources.
  • Support budget tracking and monitoring efforts across various projects and funding types.
  • Contribute to financial analysis activities by comparing planned budgets against actual expenditures and identifying variances.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Provide day-to-day financial and administrative support to Project and Program Managers.
  • Help coordinate communication between project teams, corporate finance, and contracts departments.
  • Support subcontractor financial tracking activities, including:
    • Assisting with purchase requisition entry in Costpoint.
    • Reviewing invoices and purchase orders for completeness and accuracy.
    • Tracking funding levels and supporting invoice processing.
  • Assist with procurement coordination, including tracking orders and deliveries for contract materials.
  • Review employee travel and expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Support maintenance of SharePoint sites, including document organization, updates, and basic reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and quality standards, including CMMI and ISO guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Candidate requires (2) two years of related experience 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint (or willingness to learn quickly).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within program financial management and operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or academic project experience related to finance, accounting, or project management.
  • Familiarity with government contracting environments or financial systems (e.g., Costpoint) is a plus.
  • Exposure to data analysis or reporting tools.

Compensation Statement
At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00
