Client is a full-service architectural firm dedicated to providing unique and innovative solutions to our clients' planning and design challenges. Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Jr. Job Captain / Designer

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of architectural construction documents with high quality and accuracy.

  • Support coordination of design deliverables with consultants and project teams.

  • Work alongside project designers to develop design concepts, including plan layouts, elevations, sections, construction details, and material and systems selection.

  • Assist with site development tasks and building construction documentation.

  • Support construction administration activities as directed by the project manager, including site observation visits, responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, and producing clarification and bulletin documents.

  • Conduct Matterport 3D scans of existing buildings to support as-built documentation, renovation projects, and design development.

  • Process and manage Matterport scan data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for project teams.

  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an architectural or design practice.

  • Experience with Matterport scanning equipment and software, or willingness to learn (training provided).

  • Working knowledge of building codes applicable to project jurisdictions.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT

  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

  • Must be authorized to work in the US. We are not able to sponsor work visas.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Matterport Pro2 or Pro3 cameras and the Matterport cloud platform.

  • Exposure to both corporate interiors and commercial/mixed-use building projects.

  • Familiarity with Silicon Valley project environments.
