Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Junior Revit Coordinator to support architectural project teams with model setup, production, coordination, and quality control. This is an entry-level position intended for a recent graduate or early-career candidate who has a strong foundation in Revit and wants to build practical BIM expertise on active projects.

You will work alongside experienced BIM and design professionals, contribute directly to project models and documentation, and learn how digital standards support complex architectural work. We are looking for someone who is careful, curious, dependable, and comfortable asking questions. Professional experience is not required; relevant academic work, internships, and personal projects are welcome.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Assist with Revit model setup, file organization, links, coordinates, views, sheets, schedules, and publishing.
  • Support architectural modeling and documentation under the direction of project and BIM leaders.
  • Help create and maintain Revit families, templates, parameters, and project content.
  • Perform routine model-health reviews and assist with resolving warnings, duplicate information, broken links, and standards issues.
  • Support coordination of architectural models with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and specialty consultant models.
  • Prepare model exports, coordination files, and drawing packages in accordance with project requirements.
  • Follow established naming, worksharing, documentation, and data-management standards.
  • Record issues clearly and help maintain coordination logs, checklists, and project documentation.
  • Provide basic Revit assistance to team members and raise unfamiliar or higher-risk issues.
  • Participate in training and gradually take ownership of defined BIM coordination tasks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction technology, computational design, or a related field, completed or expected soon, or equivalent technical education.
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit gained through coursework, internships, employment, or independent projects.
  • Basic understanding of architectural drawings, building systems, and the design and documentation process.
  • Ability to navigate a Revit model and work with common elements, views, sheets, families, parameters, and schedules.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow documented standards.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize tasks, receive feedback, and collaborate with people from different disciplines.
  • Eligibility to work from the Los Angeles area.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Internship, studio, or project experience using Revit for architectural documentation.
  • Familiarity with worksharing, linked models, model coordinates, design options, phases, and Revit model-health practices.
  • Exposure to Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Rhino, or Bluebeam.
  • Exposure to Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python, or another visual or text-based scripting environment.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates clear digital modeling, documentation, or coordination work.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • Assigned model and documentation tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Project standards are followed consistently, and potential issues are raised early.
  • Revit knowledge and coordination responsibilities grow steadily through training and project experience.
  • Project teams view you as a careful, responsive, and dependable contributor.
COMPENSATION

The anticipated base salary range for this Los Angeles position is $65,000-$85,000 per year. The range is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant education, experience, technical skills, portfolio, and internal equity. Base salary does not represent total compensation or benefits.
