Summary: • Develop data pipelines in Palantir environments. • Manage workflows, configuration, and application management. • Integrate systems via API and develop functions using Python, Java, C++, and JavaScript. • Conduct code reviews, define UI designs, and perform requirements triage. • Execute data ingestion, formatting, and ETL activities. • Manage data retention policies and cloud infrastructure. Qualifications & Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 4+ years • Total Compensation: $230k+ yearly (tentative) Job Description: • Leverage advanced Python skills to develop and implement data transformation pipelines in a Palantir environment. • Manage workflows, configuration, and administration of Palantir-based applications. • Integrate with external systems via API and parse responses into usable data objects. • Design user interfaces and develop custom functions using TypeScript. • Conduct code reviews, solution brainstorming, and define UI designs and functionalities. • Perform tier 2 level triage with customers and translate concerns into specific requirements. • Triage requirements and articulate impacts on existing environments. • Develop new tools, code, and services for data engineering activities involving various data types and conditions. • Move structured and unstructured data using approved methods. • Execute data ingestion activities for local or enterprise-level storage. • Develop code to format data for exploration. • Analyze source data formats and collaborate with partners to determine optimal formats and transforms. • Develop code and tools for one-time and ongoing data extraction, formatting, and transformation into enterprise or standalone data models. • Develop new ETL processes and perform O&M and enhancements on existing ETL code using best practices and standards. • Develop and deliver project documentation, including ETL mappings, code guides, and access instructions. • Define and implement complex data workflows for analytic systems. • Manage data retention policies and perform data deletion. • Manage sensitive data in accordance with established authorities and policies.
