Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Florence, Missouri for an Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager - (Data Center)
This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Florence, Missouri for an Assistant / Junior Project Manager supporting large-scale data center construction projects in an Owner's Representative capacity, with a primary focus on the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) scope. The role involves assisting the project team in overseeing construction administration activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the owner's interests are represented during planning, execution, and project closeout.
The Assistant / Junior Project Manager will help coordinate CSA project activities, monitor project schedules, track budgets and key milestones, maintain project documentation, and communicate progress to clients and project stakeholders. Responsibilities include reviewing and tracking RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and field reports; coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants; supporting quality assurance efforts; and participating in site walks and construction progress meetings.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience managing complex mission-critical construction projects while developing the skills necessary to advance into a Project Manager role.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3-5 years of experience in construction, project management, owner's representation, engineering, architecture, or a related industry is preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Familiarity with construction administration processes, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting documentation, and project closeout activities.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management or construction management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications is preferred but not required.
Willingness to learn, develop professionally, and grow within an Owner's Representative project management organization.
