Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Engineering Team, of the Oil & Gas and Chemical Sectorย based in Houston, Texasย office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Assist senior engineers in the mechanical design and engineering.
  • Develop engineering drawings.
  • Prepare and update mechanical design calculations, equipment data sheets, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Support the design and selection of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and piping components.
  • Assist in piping and equipment layout studies to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Perform basic stress analysis, hydraulic calculations, and mechanical integrity evaluations under supervision.
  • Coordinate with process, piping, civil, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines to ensure integrated project execution.
  • Review vendor documentation, technical bids, and manufacturing drawings for compliance with project specifications.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including ASME, API, ASTM, and client specifications.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned engineering deliverables.
  • Follow company quality procedures, safety requirements, and project schedules.

What your experience looks like

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
