Job description

The Senior Revenue and Pricing Analyst leads advanced revenue and pricing analysis to drive strategic decision-making, optimize profitability, and support enterprise-level initiatives. This role partners with leadership to design innovative pricing strategies, oversee complex forecasting models, and mentor junior analysts. The position requires strong analytical expertise, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to influence pricing decisions across the organization.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Lead development and implementation of advanced pricing models for SaaS and card processing services.
  • Drive strategic revenue analysis, including portfolio performance, client profitability, and market trend evaluation.
  • Oversee revenue forecasting processes and provide input for multi-year financial planning and budgeting.
  • Provide expert guidance on interchange fee management and compliance.
  • Deliver pricing recommendations for high-value clients and lead periodic pricing reviews for existing accounts.
  • Identify and champion opportunities for pricing innovation and margin optimization, take's ownership to ensure resolutions are thoroughly executed.
  • Prepare and present complex financial analyses and executive-level reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Product teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, fostering skill development and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics team to bridge knowledge silos by providing business expertise, enabling the creation of reporting dashboards to improve visibility and help cross-functional teams achieve strategic goals.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in financial analysis, pricing strategy, or revenue management.
  • Proven experience in Payment or SaaS industry is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of payment interchange programs, pricing models, revenue optimization techniques, and applicable laws/regulations.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Expert-level analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and ERP systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to travel as needed and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
