Junior Okta Developer information

What is a Junior Okta Developer?

Junior Okta Developers are entry-level IT professionals who specialize in implementing, configuring, and supporting the Okta identity and access management platform. They assist in integrating Okta with applications, managing user authentication, and troubleshooting issues under the guidance of more experienced team members. Their responsibilities often include creating and managing user profiles, setting up single sign-on (SSO), and ensuring secure access to various organizational resources.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Junior Okta Developer?

To thrive as a Junior Okta Developer, you need a foundational understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, SSO, and API integration, typically supported by a degree in computer science or related experience. Familiarity with Okta Identity Cloud, RESTful APIs, SAML, OAuth, and possibly Okta Certified Professional certification is valuable. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication help you collaborate with teams and resolve integration issues efficiently. These skills ensure secure, seamless user authentication experiences and support organizational security requirements.

What are some common challenges faced by Junior Okta Developers when integrating Okta with existing systems?

Junior Okta Developers often encounter challenges when integrating Okta with legacy systems or third-party applications that may not natively support modern authentication protocols. Navigating compatibility issues, understanding API documentation, and configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) can be complex for those new to identity management. It’s important to communicate closely with cross-functional teams, such as IT and security, to ensure a smooth integration process. Proactively learning about Okta’s tools and best practices can help overcome these hurdles and build a strong technical foundation.

  • Evaluate new DocuSign capabilities and releases for fit against Legal, Procurement, and business needs, and plan their adoption

  • Review DocuSign's monthly release notes and translate roadmap and configuration impacts into Lennar's planning

  • Represent Lennar in weekly vendor check-ins with DocuSign, managing the relationship, escalations, and upcoming releases

Template, Reporting & Escalation Ownership

  • Own DocuSign template governance and partner with the DocuSign Dev team on new template builds

  • Build and maintain DocuSign reporting for Legal and business stakeholders

  • Own investigation and resolution of pre-execution signer e-mail delivery failures and other complex incidents

  • Open, own, and manage vendor support tickets with DocuSign through resolution

  • Serve as secondary escalation point for the Legal Technical Analyst I on complex account, envelope, or signing group issues

  • Support legal hold envelope collection requests for specified states, divisions, or communities

Required Qualifications
