About the role Job Summary
The Jr. Machine Operator is responsible for assisting in the operation of manufacturing machinery under supervision. This entry-level role supports production by performing basic tasks and learning to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
This job profile is intended for entry-level support staff who follow specific instructions and procedures, with supervision provided for non-routine situations. Tasks can be carried out after basic training or demonstration.


This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large, Division / Extra Large organization.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in setting up and operating machinery.
Monitor equipment and report issues to supervisors.
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines.
Follow safety and operational procedures.
Record production data and support quality checks.
Learn and apply standard operating procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
May require basic vocational training (or equivalent work experience) and the ability to carry out assigned tasks after initial instruction or demonstration.
