Job description

• Good knowledge of patching compliance and processes

Roles & Responsibilities
• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise Linux environments (RHEL 7,8,9).
• Administer Linux servers including patch management, performance tuning, and System upgrades.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of Linux servers across production, non-
production, and DR environments.
• Perform OS installation, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Manage system services, storage, filesystems, kernel parameters, and resource optimization.
• Monitor infrastructure health and proactively address performance bottlenecks.
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Perform day-to-day system administration activities including user management, permissions, services,
and file systems
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues
• Troubleshoot OS-level issues related to CPU, memory, disk, network, and system services
• Implement OS hardening, security best practices, and support vulnerability remediation activities
Manage storage including LVM, RAID, file systems, and mount points • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures. • Review and approve infrastructure changes through change management processes. • Ensure compliance with ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request management. • Manage and Maintain IBM AIX servers including OS management, Firmware updates and AIX Migrations. • Perform AIX patching, HMC patching, and NIM setup and Operations. • Ensure Compliance with security benchmark. • Manage Satellite servers for patching and system management. • Provide expert level support for Linux/AIX system security including access control, audit logging and vulnerability mitigation. • Manage and troubleshoot HP Physical server infrastructure. • Good understanding on virtualization technologies. • Support day to day issues like server hung, unexpected reboot and performance issues for DB hosts. • Maintain System documentation and collaborate with cross functional teams. • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure etc. • Good understanding of Automation tools like Ansible and deep scripting knowledge for configuration management, deployment and Compliance. • Basic understanding of Dynatrace monitoring tools.

• Must be able to clearly interact with customers, understand the customers requirements.
• Interact with team leaders and other team members to improve support quality.

Salary Range: $90,000 -$100,000 year
