Job description

Our client is recruiting Junior-Level Technical Analyst supporting the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense, Research and Engineering Branch (OUSD/R&E). Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the government space? What if you could find a position that is tailor-made for your mix of development, engineering, and communication skills? We are currently seeking a Junior-Level Technical Analyst will assist and support the Mid-Level Technical Analyst within Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT). The Junior- Level Technical Analyst will engage and assist in supporting the technical areas. This position is located in the Washington D.C./Virginia area.

Qualifications Required (Skills)

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or analytical discipline
  • Two (2) or more years demonstrating the required skills
  • Shall have experience in technology or program management and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in technology or program management and International Agreements to support: Concept Development; Technology Outreach, Linking Technologies to Military Requirements, Assessing Technologies, Assessing Potential Operational Impact, Funding Recommendations and Coordination, Annual Proposal Assessment, Integration and Duplication Assessment, System Engineering, Technical Analysis, and Transition Support, and International Agreements.
  • Experience in Information Management: Data Products and Process Improvement, Graphics Support, Maintenance of Historical Program Data; Short-Notice Response, Maintenance of Historical Meeting Records, Decision Support Project-Tracking Tools
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to develop papers, reports, and briefings targeted to senior decision makers
  • Experience to include supporting policy and process engineering activities
  • AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION WITH THE ABILITY TO RECEIVE A TS/SCI CLEARANCE FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • Must be in compliance of working at a Government Facility, all Contractor personnel must adhere to Government guidance found at https://www.whs.mil/COVID-19/ .
  • Be able to travel around the National Capital Region (NCR) to include travel to and from the Pentagon and other Government facilities within the Washington DC area. Additional travel needs may arise outside of the NCR and CONUS when required.
  • No remote work. Telework is available upon approval.

Qualifications Desired

  • Expertise in Commercial/private sector or DoD industry experience, such as coordinating with small businesses or non-traditional defense vendors.
