Job description


JUNIOR LEGAL ASSISTANT/ CLIENT LIAISON NEEDED FOR IMMEDIATE START AT A LAW FIRM IN DOWNTOWN MIAMI. THIS IS A LONG TERM PROJECT (A YEAR) WITH POTENTIAL TO GO PERM. THE HOURLY RATE IS $22/HOUR, MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 9AM-5PM. Qualified candidates should email their to jmoses@phaxis.Com
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver high-quality customer service handling incoming and outgoing phone calls with clients
  • responsible for managing client correspondence, verifying and uploading documents into case management systems,
  • Collect, validate, and upload client documentation into case management platforms.
  • Ordering of medical records, interacting with firm vendors as needed
  • Manage client expectations by explaining the settlement/claims process clearly.
  • Develops and maintains records on cases.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Quick learner and ability to understand legal language and case settlement processes and other related matters .
  • Adept at learning and using legal software.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Associates degree minimum
