Job Title: IT Security Analyst - Junior

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week, Thursday required)

Duration: 1-Year Contract (Contract-to-Hire)

Rate: $40 - $50/hr (W2)

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this role (no F-1, OPT, CPT, H-1B, or other employment-based visa sponsorship).

Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior IT Security Analyst to support Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) initiatives within a hybrid enterprise environment. This role will be heavily involved in the implementation and ongoing support of SPHEREboard (priority) and CyberArk PAM solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in security services, IAM/PAM technologies, and scripting/automation to improve operational efficiency within identity security workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support implementation and ongoing administration of SPHEREboard for CyberArk PAM.

  • Provide operational support for IAM/PAM tools and identity security services.

  • Develop scripts (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Java) to automate manual processes within the IAM space.

  • Work closely with IT Service Delivery, IT Operations, IT Support Services, and business stakeholders.

  • Assist in tracking and monitoring security-related projects to ensure alignment with service levels (budget, schedule, quality).

  • Review, analyze, and report on security service provider performance.

  • Resolve or escalate identity and security-related issues in a timely manner.

  • Facilitate audits of security service processes and ensure documentation is current.

  • Maintain understanding of service provider security operations and capabilities.

  • Support investigations related to security incidents or breaches in coordination with cybersecurity leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in security services, security analysis, deployment, or support.

  • Strong knowledge of IT security tools, trends, and best practices.

  • Experience with IAM/PAM technologies.

  • Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Java).

  • Strong analytical skills including root cause analysis and process improvement.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

  • Must be local to the Columbus, OH area and able to work onsite 3 days per week (Thursday mandatory).

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SPHEREboard (highly preferred).

  • Experience with CyberArk.

  • Experience with SailPoint, PingFederate, or PingOne.

  • Familiarity with enterprise security operations and service provider governance.
